England - Yorkshire Dales to Lake District

As happened elsewhere, Jervaulx Abbey was destroyed during Henry VIII's Dissolution of the Monasteries with a lot of the buildings being dismantled. Luckily a large amount of the furnishings ended up in parish churches throughout the Yorkshire Dales.
